Hello beautiful organizers! I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. It’s Wednesday - we are halfway through the week. Let’s keep up the positive vibes all the way to the weekend by focusing on car organization. It is crazy how much cleaning out the car can improve your mindset!
TIP #1: What goes in should go out. We all know that everything should have its place in the home. Well the same thing applies to the car!! Luckily, it’s much easier to abide by this rule when it comes to cars because there are not many items that need to be stored in the car. Trash, papers, bags, and water bottles should enter and exit the car every single trip. If you can get in the habit of tidying the car as you go about your day, it will make a WORLD of a difference.
TIP #2: Accessories your car with helpful gear. I always keep a trash bag, a lint-roller, a phone stand for easy GPS access, a picnic blanket, and an old sheet in my car. I use the old sheet as a seat cover whenever I need to take my dog to the vet or the park. If she enters the car with muddy paws - it doesn’t directly touch the seats.
TIP #3: Spot clean your vehicle in between trips to professional car cleaning appointments. Vacuum the seat cushion and wiping down the surfaces of the car interior every few weeks. This eliminates dust build up, and can make your car rides much more enjoyable. Gather and remove any small objects that have accumulated under the seats.
